Description
Tension and Calm is an abstract art postcard by Matigan, printed from a digital painting the artist developed from her own original oil painting.
A bold mass of red and black rises against a pale ground of pink, soft yellow, light blue and white. The heavy foreground and the airy background pull against each other, so the piece holds tension and calm at the same time and the energy keeps flowing.
Printed on matte card in postcard size, it is an easy way to live with contemporary abstract art: send it to someone you love, pin it above your desk, or frame it as a small piece for a shelf, hallway or gallery wall. The soft matte finish keeps the colors deep and free of glare.
