Description
Persian Gulf Sceneries is a series of hand-pulled monoprints. Each sheet is a different scene from the same coastline: the water, the sun and the bodies that move between them.
Curled on the Shore is the quiet sheet of the group. A figure folds into itself on a band of dark earth, while a small yellow sun sits low in the corner. On the right, fragments of printed lettering break up into patches of blue, like a page left out in the salt air.
Each print is pulled by hand. The plate never gives the same image twice, so this is a unique work, not a reproduction. Signed by hand.
